- Hemant Mahaur is an Indian Indian director, producer, writer, and actor, who is known for acting in several Bollywood films including Agent Vinod (2012), Highway (2014), and Phantom (2015).
- Almost every Sunday, Hemant’s father would take him and his mother to see a Hindi film. He made the decision to pursue acting as a career after growing up watching classic Indian cinema.
- While he was a student at the National School of Drama, he worked under theater activists Panchanan Patak and Lalit Mohan Thapaliyal, B V Karanth, Habib Tanvir, Satyadev Dube, Kanhayya Lal, Mohan Maharishi, and Ram Gopal Bajaj.
- During his time at the National School of Drama in New Delhi, Hemant Mahaur received training under the guidance of renowned actor Naseeruddin Shah.
