  • He started playing hockey in 2008 after being inspired by his elder cousins who played hockey.
  • When he was a kid, he would borrow hockey sticks to play because he could not afford to buy one.
  • In 2011, he was selected in the Chandigarh Hockey Academy.

  • On 17 May 2015, he scored a hat-trick in the final match of the 5th Sub Junior National Hockey Championship and helped his team, Chandigarh Olympic Association, win the tournament.
  • He was the captain of the Indian team in the School Asia Cup in 2017, helping India win the tournament.
  • He was the vice-captain of the Indian team in the Buenos Aires Summer Youth Olympics in 2018.
  • He was the highest goal scorer in the Junior Hockey World Cup, which was held in Bhubaneswar in 2021. He scored 8 goals, including two hat-tricks in the tournament.
