• In the 1960s, his great-grandfather Joseph Abraham created a sweet delicacy called Muscoth Halwa which became popular in Mudalur, Tamil Nadu.

• In his childhood, his family didn’t allow him to watch TV, so he watched sports competitions and long jumpers on the computer bought for the Halwa store they owned.

• During his school days, he went to Anna Stadium in Tiruchirappalli on weekends to practice long jump on the synthetic track. He also participated in kho-kho and volleyball competitions at his school.

• In 2019, he was spotted by French coach Antony Yaich at the 2019 National Junior Athletics Championships in Ranchi who later trained him for the long jump at the Inspire Institute of Sport in Ballari.

• He loves watching anime. Some of his favourite manga series are Blue Lock (2022) and One Piece (1997).

• Antony Yaich taught him the hitch-kick technique, where the jumper while in the air completes a cyclic kick motion instead of using the hang technique.

• In 2023, he qualified for the World Athletics Championships in the men’s long jump in Budapest but failed to qualify for the finals.
