Some Lesser Known Facts About Maike Cruz

Maike was inclined towards sports from a very young age and always wanted to make a career in it.

At the age of 11, Maike began training as a swimming athlete at the Olympic Training and Research Center and within a few years became a Brazilian medalist in the sport. In an interview, while talking about his passion for sports, he said,

It’s what made me who I am today. Sports shaped me. All my discipline and determination come from swimming.”

In 2025, he participated in the reality TV show Big Brother Brasil 25. In the show, he was paired with Gabriel Yoshimoto. Together, they were referred to as #TeamMaioshi.
