- The Nolan sisters performed constantly in nightclubs, on TV shows, and on tours to support their family. Their father, also their manager, used to wait at the bar during shows and drive them home late, even on school nights.
- In 1979, Linda met tour manager Brian Hudson. They soon fell in love and got married in 1981 despite their parents’ concerns about their 13-year age gap; Brian Hudson worked as The Nolans’ tour manager until 1983.
- In 1981, Linda joined her sister Coleen Nolan as part of the ‘Young & Moody Band’ and contributed to the track ‘Don’t Do That.’ The song, which peaked at No. 63 on the UK charts, also featured iconic musicians Lemmy and Cozy Powell.
- Linda parted ways with The Nolans in December 1983. Soon after, she earned the nickname ‘Naughty Nolan’ for her bold and provocative publicity pictures, which drew significant attention.
