- Krishnan’s father was very passionate about cricket and also encouraged Krishnan to pursue cricket professionally. He grew up watching players like Yuvraj Singh and Suresh Raina.
- Since his young days, Krishnan has been part of every age-group team in Karnataka.
- Krishnan made his T20 Cricket debut for the Karnataka cricket team in early 2021 during the 2020-21 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
- Before making his first-class debut, people around him perceived him as a white-ball specialist.
- Krishnan made his List-A debut against Vidarbha in Rajkot in December 2023.
- Krishnan came into the limelight while playing for the Hubli Tigers, he scored 349 runs in 10 matches of the Maharaja T20 Trophy 2024 tournament, including two half-centuries and a century.
- Krishnan made his first-class debut in the Ranji Trophy in November 2024 for Karnataka against Uttar Pradesh; he scored a century in the match. He became the 10th Karnataka batter to score a hundred on First-Class debut.
