- Initially, Anjana didn’t recognise him and asked him to call her on her number. Later, he connected with her directly through a video call, instructing her to stop the action and coordinate with the local Tehsildar.
- Anjana’s calm and professional response during this incident won widespread praise and being dubbed as Lady Singham.
- Despite the pressure from political leaders, she did not back down. She continued with her duty, and later a case was filed against the four individuals for unlawful assembly and obstructing public servants.
- After this incident, National Congress Party (NCP) Maharashtra Legislative Council (MLC) Amol Mitkari called for a UPSC-level investigation into Krishna’s documents, including educational qualifications, caste certificate, and other relevant documents. However, on 7 September 2025, he withdrew his demand and issued an apology for raising doubts about her credentials.
