In 2015, Brooks met an advertising executive named Billy Haire and went on their first date, which turned out awkward as she got sick during dinner. Despite this, they continued to see each other.

In October 2018, Haire proposed to Brooks, and they got married in December 2019. The duo, however, announced their separation after four years of marriage and got divorced in 2025.
