  • On 18 November 2024, she was getting ready to host the Imperma lecture series at TDM Hall in Ernakulam.

  • Before leaving home with her husband, Rajagopalan, she had a cup of coffee. She then noticed that coffee was dripping down from the right side of her lips, and her speech started sounding unnatural, like a dragged cassette.

  • Ranjini Menon did not understand what was wrong and continued with her schedule.

  • On her way to the TDM Hall, she felt uncomfortable, and her words became unclear to her husband.
