• On 9 February 2026, Chinnu Pappu made headlines when she was found dead in her rented home in Kasaragod, Kerala.

• During investigations, police suspected suicide and filed an unnatural death case.

• In the afternoon of 9 February 2026, her body was found hanging by her brother Ratheesh from a ceiling fixture, and he called neighbours after that.

• They then rushed her to a nearby hospital, where doctors said she was dead on arrival.

• Her last reel came six days before her death.

• According to her friends, Chinnu Pappu had a love marriage when she was in her late teenage years, but her marriage had problems.
