- Bishwadeep Chatterjee is a renowned Indian film sound designer, sound editor and audio mixer.
- With a career span of over 3 decades, he has virtually worked in every department of Sound for Feature Films, Short Films, Documentaries, Television serials, Advertising films and Music Albums.
- Bishwadeep started his professional career with Bengali cinema, where he made his debut as a sound engineer, with the film, Chokher Bali: A Passion Play. (2003).
- In 2004, he transitioned to Bollywood and made his Hindi film debut with the film Raincoat (2004). In the same year, he gave the sound design for a hit film Parineeta, that gained him recognition in Hindi film industry.
- Soon he established himself as a top tier sound engineer, especially known for blending realism with emotional story telling.
- Bishwadeep breakthrough came im 2013, when he won his first National Award for the film Madras Cafe (2013).
