- Chinmayee Gopal did her bachelor degree in Economics from the prestigious Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University. She later earned a master’s degree in Economics from Delhi School of Economics.
- After her master’s degree she started preparing for civil exam. In 2013, she cleared her UPSC exam in second attempt with an All-India Rank of 16.
