• Roopika was born and raised in Bangalore, Karnataka.

• She began her journey in the entertainment industry at a very young age, where she worked as a child artist in Kannada television industry before entering into the film industry.

• During her childhood, Roopika acted in nearly 20 television serials, including, Baduku, Belli, Chukki, and Avala Mane, which helped her in building her career and confidence as a performer in the entertainment industry.

• Around 2009, Roopika made her debut in the Kannada film industry in a lead role in the film Cheluvina Chilipili.

• Some of her notable films are Uyyale (2011), Kajgejje (2011), Mariyade (2011), Janmasthanam (2014), and Dalar (2024).

• From 2015 to 2017, Roopika took a break from acting as she wanted to focus on her fitness and overall health.
