• Aditya Pandya completed his intermediate education at Asia English School, Gandhinagar, with specialisation in Science, Maths, and Artificial Intelligence.

• He earned a certification in Generative AI for data-driven business decision-making from the Indian Institute of Management, Mumbai, from February 2025 to April 2025.

• During the same time, he earned the same certificate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

• Pandya has been passionate about astronomy since childhood. In 2023, he founded a skill-based learning company, INNOGNE, that organized multiple school workshops and public events to educate people about the universe.

• The mission was conducted from 1 February 2026 to 8 February 2026 in the white plains of Dholavira, Kutch, Gujarat.

• In the mission, Aditya served as a crew member living in the habitat and as the lead engineer designing key systems. He developed a biometric tracking system to monitor crew health and a real-time telemetry framework to control and assess conditions inside the lunar analogue habitat.

• In an interview, Aditya mentioned that during the 8-day mission, the whole crew followed a strict isolation protocol and stayed cut off from outside communication and relied entirely on the onboard system for their daily function, which was the key part of analogue astronaut training.

• After participating in the lunar analogue mission, Aditya Pandya became one of the youngest analog astronauts of India.

• Along with being a professional analog astronaut, Pandya is also a social media influencer. On his Instagram handle, he shares insights on astronomy, science, and personal growth. His content focuses on making complex scientific concepts easy to understand.

• From September 2022 to January 2026, Aditya Pandya worked part-time as a student volunteer at the Blind People’s Association in Ahmedabad. During his time there, he played a key role in designing a prototype of an ultrasonic blind stick, which helps visually impaired individuals navigate safely by detecting obstacles.
