- Akash considers himself to be a political satirist and uploads satirical commentary on trending political and environmental topics on his YouTube channel. He also uses a caricature personality called, “Bhakt Banerjee” to comment on certain topics.
- While Akash was still pursuing his master’s degree in Delhi, he worked as a Radio Jockey for Radio Mirchi. He was part of the core team that set up Radio Mirchi in Delhi and worked as a producer and RJ for the late-night show, DCH.
- In 2005, Akash went on to work for Times Now as an Anchor before joining India Today as a senior correspondent in 2007.
