- Ali Kazmi grew up in a family of actors.
- In 1987, he played a younger version of his father’s character in the Pakistani television series ‘Dhoop Kinare,’ which aired on PTV Home. This experience sparked his desire to become an actor.
- Whenever his parents could not find a child actor for a film they were producing or working on, they would cast Ali Kazmi in the role.
- When he was 2 years old, his mother directed the music video of Pakistani playback singer Nayyara Noor’s song ‘Watan Ki Mitti Gawah Rehna.’ One morning, she woke him and his father and told them she needed them in the video.
- In the mid-1990s, Ali fell in love with his high school classmate Alizeh Khorasanee, whom he had known since he was 12. They first met on a playground at a school in Karachi.
- He was very young when he started modelling.
- Ali planned to move to Canada for Alizeh in September 2001, but due to the 9/11 attacks, he could not. He, however, moved to Canada after marrying Alizeh in Pakistan in 2007. There, he enrolled in the Toronto Film School, and at the same time, he auditioned for many projects.
