• Amit Dubey was born into a farmer family in Palamu district of Jharkhand.

• He once shared that there used to be no school or any means of transport within 5 km to 6 km in his village. To attend school, he used to walk more than 10 km daily.

• In his childhood, his father motivated him to study hard, so he could complete his higher studies in good college.

• He once shared that he always topped his class in his school.

• Amit Dubey was very fond of singing in his childhood.

• In class 6, he cleared the entrance exam of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya of Palamu district and took admission there. He considered this as a life-changing event.

• He then enrolled in MBBS but due to financial difficulties, he could not complete the degree.

• He has been honoured with many awards including the National Science Exhibition at BHU, National Science Congress- 1st Award for Nanotechnology Projection and Future, Marine Life, Sustainable Development of Ayurvedic Medicine and Remedies, Science Fair Award for Biofuel Project, Biodiversity, and Nanomedicine.
