• Anil Ravipudi is an Indian film director and writer renowned for his work in the Telugu Film industry.

• He was born and brought up in a middle-class family. His father worked as a bus driver in the Road Transport Corporation for 20 years. Additionally, his father also worked as a production manager in some of Anil’s films.

• In 2005, after completing his degree in technology, rather than pursuing a career in the corporate sector, Anil started working as an assistant director to his uncle, P. A. Arun Prasad, an Indian film director, screenwriter, and producer, known for his works in Telugu, Kannada, and Tamil cinema. He learnt film direction and scriptwriting under his guidance.

• Later, he worked as a dialogue writer for films like Sankham (2009) and Kandireega (2011).

• He also co-wrote the script for the Telugu films Masala (2013) and Aagadu (2014).

• In 2014, after completing the script of the film Pataas, Anil met Telugu film director Nandamuri Kalyan Ram through his friend and gave him his script. Later on, Anil and Kalyan Ram worked together on the script. The film was successful at the box office.

• Anil has delivered many hit films one after the other, including Supreme (2016), Raja the Great (2017), F2 (2019), Sarileru Neekevvaru (2020), F3 (2022), and Bhagavanth Kesari (2023).

• In 2025, Anil’s film Sankranthiki Vasthunam became the highest-grossing comedy in Telugu cinema. The film was released during Sankranthi 2025.

• In 2026, again during the Sankranthi season, he released a film, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, starring Chiranjeevi, which also turned out to be a box office hit and collected over Rs 300 crore worldwide.
