• Ankit Baliyan was born and raised in Bantikhera village in Shamli, Uttar Pradesh.

• At a young age, he developed an interest in music and later started working as a singer and songwriter.

• Apart from singing, Baliyan was also worked as an actor, producer and YouTuber. He used his YouTube channel to release his songs and music videos.

• His music often focused on rural and Haryanvi identity and are based on themes such as desi culture, village life, Jat identity, powerful vehicles, youth attitude, local politics and gun culture.

• In May 2023, his song titled, Ek Khtola Jail Ke Bhitar, became one of his most-viewed songs.

• Ankit collaborated with several established Haryanvi artists and singers, including Masoom Sharma, Raju Punjabi, and Ashu Twinkle.

• In July 2023, he came into the news for organising a roadshow in Shamli. A convoy of cars, motorcycles and tractors took part in the event.

• Police later registered a case after the roadshow because the event was reportedly held without the required permission and allegedly violated restrictions.

• On 26 August 2026, Ankit Baliyan was killed outside a gym in Shamli after finishing his workout. According to reports several attackers opened fire at him and around 18 rounds were fired during the attack.

• Baliyan suffered multiple injuries and died after being taken for treatment.

• After his death, his family and supporters protested and blocked a road near the crime scenes and demanded that the killers be arrested.

• Police investigated the murder by checking the CCTV footage from nearby areas and looking possible personal disputes and old rivalries to find the reason behind his killing.

• According to a social media post, Gogi gang was behind his murder. Police was investigating the claim.
