- Ankush has been working in Marathi cinema for the past 30 years. During this time, he has acted in more than 40 films and TV shows and has won more than 20 awards, including 3 Filmfare Awards Marathi. He is also among the highest-paid actors in the Marathi film industry.
- Ankush was born and raised in a poor family. In an interview, he revealed that he used to sell fruits and vegetables with his father to earn money.
