  • Ankush Rathee is an Indian Kabaddi player. He became famous after he won the Best Defender of the Season Award in season 9 of the Pro Kabaddi League in 2022.
  • Ankush Rathee started playing Kabaddi at the Deepak Niwas Hooda Foundation in Rohtak, Haryana. He later participates in various competitions at the district and state levels. Later, he was chosen for the  Kabaddi Team of the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Sonepat.
  • In 2021, Ankush Rathee made his debut in the Pro Kabaddi League when he was selected as a franchisee-nominated new young player by Bengaluru Bulls to play in season 8 of the Pro Kabaddi League; however, he got no playtime.

  • Later, the same year, Ankush Rathee participated in the 47th Junior National Kabaddi Championship, which took place in S.P. Office Grounds Suryapet, Telangana, as a player of the Chandigarh National Junior Kabaddi Team.
  • In 2022, Ankush was bought by Jaipur Pink Panthers as an existing young player to play during season 9 of the Pro Kabaddi League.   • He became the first player in season 9 of the Pro Kabaddi League to score more than 70 tackle points, and he received a total of nine high-fives. The record for the most tackle points by a debutant was broken by him. In Season 9, Ankush Rathee became an orange sleeve holder after he earned the most tackle points and nine 5’s.
  • Ankush Rathee was bought by the Jaipur Pink Panthers for Rs. 30 lakhs in 2023 to remain as a left-corner defender in the new young player category to play in season 10 of the Pro Kabaddi League.
