• Anshul Kamboj belongs to an agricultural family in Karnal.

• He began receiving cricket training at Rana Brothers’ Cricket Academy in Karnal, Haryana, during his school days.

• He initially began playing for Haryana in the U-14 cricket championships and later started playing for the team in all age groups.
