Some Lesser Known Facts About Arsh Dalla

• Arshdeep Singh Gill, also known as Arsh Dalla, is associated with extremist groups like the Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF) and the International Sikh Youth Federation (ISYF).

• He is known for being involved in crimes such as murder, extortion, and targeted killings, along with terror activities such as terror financing and cross-border smuggling.

• In August 2017, with the help of Moga police, Arsh Dalla obtained a police clearance certificate to obtain a passport. During that time, he was wanted in three police cases. A constable was later suspended for granting him clearance.

• He travelled from Punjab, India, to Canada on 22 October 2018, on a visitor visa and later acquired permanent residency.

• In Canada, Arsh Dalla got involved with Pro-Khalistani groups and collaborated with late KTF chief Hardeep Singh Nijjar, who was engaged in recruiting youth for forming terrorist gangs and carrying out extortion and targeted killings in Punjab.

• After joining the KTF, Dalla got involved in various terror activities. Later, he was declared a huge threat by the Union Home Ministry of India and Interpol. At that time, he was also being chased by many other international law enforcement agencies.

• There was a time when Dalla had a higher killing record than Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

• In November 2020, he was involved in the murder of Manohar Lal, a follower of the religious group Dera Sacha Sauda, in Bathinda. After that, he claimed responsibility for the murder of Sukhpreet Singh, a renowned criminal in Punjab.

• In 2021, Arsh Dalla formed a three-member KTF group and killed Tejinder alias Pinka, the proprietor of Sunshine Clothes Store in Moga.

• In January 2021, he, along with his associates, Ram Singh, alias Sona, and Kamaljeet Sharma, alias Kamal, planned an attack on a Hindu priest named Pragya Gyan Muni in Phillaur, Jalandhar.

• Arsh Dalla then collaborated with the gangsters Bikram Brar and Canada-based Goldy Brar in 2021 and formed many KTF modules responsible for targeted killings and attacks in Punjab. These targets included Bittu Premi, Shamma Badmash, and Sirsa-based DSS follower Shakti Singh.

• In 2021, he created a four-member KTF module in Haryana, India, with the help of other infamous criminals Gurjant Singh Janty and Lakhbir Singh Rode.

• In January 2022, Arsh Dalla established a four-member KTF group with the help of KTF chief Hardeep Singh Nijjar and planned to attack Harmanbir Singh Gill, SSP of Moga and two inspectors of the crime investigation agency (CIA) branch in Moga.

• During the same time, Arsh Dalla formed a seven-member KTF group to target a Mohali-based immigration consultant, Pritpal Singh Bobby.

• He resides in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, with his wife and daughter, and holds a passport which was issued to him in Jalandhar on 1 September 2017.

• Reportedly, Arsh Dalla transfers money (through hawala) from Canada to India to his associates for criminal activities.

• In September 2023, Delhi Police discovered his links to the Pakistan-based terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), and his intent to target Hindu leaders in Punjab.

• In October 2023, Harjinder Singh alias Mela, Mall Road Association President, was shot dead in Bathinda, and Arsh Dalla took responsibility for the murder. Dalla claimed that he killed Mela following a dispute regarding his multi-story parking contract in Bathinda.

• In 2023, Arsh Dalla was declared an ‘individual terrorist’ under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.

• In May 2024, Arsh Dalla and his associate Lakhbir reportedly claimed responsibility for the murder of the Canadian gangster Goldy Brar through a social media post. However, later, the US authorities declined the reports claiming Brar’s death in a shooting incident in California.
