Some Lesser Known Facts About Ayush Shetty

At the age of eight, Ayush Shetty gained interest in badminton after seeing his father play at the backyard. He then started practicing with his father.

In Karkala and Mangalore, he first received training from local coaches Subhash and Chetan.

When Ayush was twelve years old his family moved to Bengaluru in order to provide him with better training, where joined Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy.

He worked hard to improve his agility, defense, and training at the academy run by Indian legend Prakash Padukone.

The 2025, US Open (Super 300) in Council Bluffs, Iowa highlights the pinnacle of his career. He dismantled Brian Yang in straight games 21-13, 21-18 with commanding flair right from start to the end.
