Some Lesser Known Facts About Shoma Anand Shoma Anand is a veteran Indian film and television actress. In 1968, she moved from Amritsar to Mumbai. She learnt dancing from Shambhu Sen (father of the music director, Samir Sen). Her father’s friend, Janki Das suggested her to audition for the main lead in the film, ‘Barood’ (1976).
