• In 2016, Chandan Kumar Singh clinched a gold medal in the Asian Lawn Bowls Championships in fours. In 2017, he won another gold in the triples at the Asian Lawn Bowls Championships.

• According to some media sources, his grandfather, Late Arjun Prasad Singh, was an Indian Army officer who was a member of the Dhavadal. On 15 February 1932, his grandfather was invited to hoist the tricolour at Tarapur police station by the local government. Chandan Kumar Singh’s father mentioned in a media conversation that Kabaddi and Cricket were Chandan’s favourite games during his college days.
