Controversies	Arrest and Charges in Florida Peters was arrested in Florida on battery charges in late March, 2026. The case related to an alleged fight between his girlfriend and another woman. On 2 February 2026, a 19 year old woman reported that Violet Marie Lentz, 24, attacked her. Detectives determined that Peters's fight was an instigation. Shortly after, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission started their investigation into him for killing an alligator while live streaming. Whether the two issues are related remains to be seen. On the 29th of April 2026, the authorities arrested Peters for illegally shooting a gun. He was charged with up to a year in jail for this. Mendoza told police she was in shock and didn't say a word during the act. Peters became cold towards her after the act and arranged an Uber to take her home, she said. She did not undergo a sexual assault forensic exam afterwards. She initially told police that she had confided in a friend but was unable to provide any contact information for the friend. Later, when the police called, she confessed that she did not have disclosed to anyone the full extent of what occurred. Her civil case also claims Peters had sex with her when she was too drunk to consent. This is not alleged in the criminal complaint. Since the allegations came to light, police tried to reach Peters several times, but he did not answer calls from authorities until 30 August 2026. In November 2025, Mendoza reconvened with Peters in Miami at a networking event. Peters then invited her and her friends over to his house in Delray Beach, Florida for a Kick streaming session. In this livestream, Mendoza claims that Peters injected her with a syringe containing Aqualyx, a fat dissolving substance that is not FDA approved. He allegedly didn't tell her this prior to the injection. The lawsuit states that the video shows Peters struggling with the injection, and that her right cheek got perforated in the process.
