Dushyant appeared as a mentally challenged boy in ‘Tere Mere Saath Rahen,’ a 2001 Hindi film directed by Mahesh Manjrekar.

He became widely popular with his role of ‘Centimeter,’ in Rajkumar Hirani‘s one of the most popular Bollywood films of 2009, ‘3 Idiots.’
