Some Lesser Known Facts About Laila Khan

She had recorded a song, ‘Khabara Da Pakhtu Da,’ for Peshawar Zalmi team in the 2015 Pakistan Super League.

Laila was one of the singers in January 2015 to sing, ‘Amann,’ a song written by Presidental Award Winner Laiq Zada Laiq, in the memory of those killed in 2014 Peshawar School killings.

She worked with Fawad Khan to complete her Pashto album which was dedicated to the students of Army Public School, Peshawar, and those who got killed in the school massacre in 2014.

Along with some other leading singers, she was chosen a representative from Pakistan to perform at several international concerts, in 2016.

Laila has also worked in the Pashto film industry, which is popularly known as ‘Pollywood.’
