She accused Lee of causing her mental and physical distress and being a chronic gambler. Kwon sued Lee for 100 million won. In response, Lee's agency, BH Entertainment, denied all of Kwon's claims, stating that they were untrue and believed the lawsuit was a retaliatory action due to their breakup. Still, to confront them, there would be cultural and linguistic barriers. I went to a coffee shop for a cup of coffee and the baristas asked me, ‘You’re a movie star, right?’ I thought, ‘Finally someone recognizes me,’ but then they said that they really enjoyed the movie ‘The Hangover.’ To them, all Asians look the same.” [34]Vulture
