Meghna was born in a musical family as her father is a singer and her mother is a tabla artist, and dancer. She learned her initially lessons of singing from her father.

Before getting a song in ‘Secret Superstar’ she was rejected at a talent hunt competition.

She made her singing debut at the age of 16 with the song “Main Kaun Hoon” in Aamir Khan and Zaira Wasim starrer ‘Secret Superstar’ (2017), which was composed by Amit Trivedi.
