  • L’Algérino is a renowned Algerian and French rapper and singer, known for his unique fusion of rap and singing. He began his music career at just 11 years old and was raised in Marseille’s Felix Pyat area. By the age of 25, he made history as the first Marseille artist to sign with the independent Parisian label Sinik Six-O-Nine.
  • His journey in the music industry was influenced by his connection with JUL, a childhood friend, and his discovery by Akhenaton, a member of the IAM group, in 2001. Akhenaton brought him on board at 361 Recordz, where L’Algérino released his debut album “Les derniers seront les premiers” in June 2005.

  • Before his solo success, he was part of groups like ‘B-Vice Junior’ and ’45 Niggaz’, and collaborated on independent albums with them. Early in his career, his work was produced by Hichem Gombra and Hafid Fédaouche of HF Production. He first gained recognition with his maxi single “T’sais c’est qui qui cause?” and later gained fame with his feature on Psy 4 de la Rime’s “Block Party”.
  • In 2004, Akhenaton of IAM discovered him and signed him to 361 Records. His debut album, “Les derniers seront les premiers”, was launched in 2005 under Naïve Records.
