• He was born to theater artists at Okhla (an industrial region) in Delhi.

• His father was a theater artist who died before Zeeshan got the fame and his mother has also been a theater artist.

• After completing his schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya, he enrolled in a B. Sc. course at the Kirori Mal College in Delhi.

• During his school days, he was less inclined towards acting and theater. However, after entering college, he inclined towards theaters and joined a theater workshop.

• After completing his graduation from Kirori Mal College, he went to Mumbai to become an actor. However, soon he realized that he didn’t know much about acting and returned to Delhi.

• In most of his films, he has worked as the close aide of the protagonist.
