Some Lesser Known Facts About Myna Nandhini

• Myna Nandhini is an Indian actress and TV personality who predominantly works in the South-Indian film industry. In 2014, she won the Indian-Tamil language Cooking reality show titled Kitchen Super Star (season 3), which aired on Vijay TV.

• Myna has appeared in several Tamil language films including Vamsam (2010), Romeo Juliet (2015), Namma Veettu Pillai (2019), and Sardar (2022).

• In January 2017, Nandhini got married to her then-boyfriend Karthikeyan; however, a few months later, Karthikeyan committed suicide. Reportedly, on 3 April 2017, Karthikeyan consumed poison with cold drinks and was found unconscious at a lodge in Virugambakkam, Chennai. ^[2]India Today He also left a suicide note in which he blamed his father-in-law (Myna’s father) for his suicide. He further wrote,
  

  I tried to talk to Nandhini many times over the phone, but Rajendran came in between and stopped. I am committing suicide due to the mental agony caused because of this. He had even blocked my call. He is only wholly responsible for my suicide.”

• During an interview, while talking about Karthikeyan’s death, Myna accused Karthikeyan of having an extramarital affair and said,
  

  Nobody, including my parents, knew about an incident so far. He had an affair with some other girl, who committed suicide. And the police had arrested him. But, I didn’t tell anyone. I told others that he had gone to Dubai. All the secrets that I had buried in my heart are now coming out because of him.”

  Nandhini further revealed that Karthikeyan fake promised people to help them get government jobs and said,

  He was very upset as people were pressuring him to return his money. I used to give him pep talk time and again and even told him that we could be together again once he sorts out all the problems. I was even giving him money from my earnings without telling anyone. When I confronted him about it, he threatened to commit suicide. And that is the reason my parents decided to take me to their home with them.”
