Namrata Singh Gujral, the Hollywood Producer, and Actor is a double-time Cancer survivor, first the Breast Cancer and then the Burkitt Lymphoma blood cancer.

She is the only South Asian woman in Hollywood who owns a production studio named American Pride Films Group and thus became the first American artist with Eastern roots to be featured on CMT

The character of Renu Mathur (played by Namrata Singh Gujral) in the Bollywood movie Kaante (2002), was the only role cast in Hollywood from the entire cast of the movie.

Besides acting in Indian roles she has also played Iranian, Pakistani, and Latin characters. She has been the part of various Television shows such as The Agency, Family Law, and Passions.

On knowing about her second illness she had even regarded committing suicide as an option.
