• Nawaz is an Indian social media influencer, YouTuber, and actor who has acted in several self-produced Kannada short films. He made headlines when he took part in the Telugu reality television show Bigg Boss Kannada’s 9th season in September 2022.

• Nawaz’s career as a social media influencer began on the Chinese video hosting application TikTok, where he used to post comedy and lip-sync duet videos. In June 2020, following the Galwan valley clashes between Indian and Chinese militaries, the Government of India banned several Chinese apps, including TikTok, as a result of which Nawaz lost more than 164.2k followers.

• In 2020, after TikTok was banned, Nawaz shifted to Instagram, where he began posting lip-sync and comedy videos. As of October 2022, he has more than 102k followers on Instagram.

• Nawaz has produced and acted in a few Kannada short films, which he has published on his YouTube channel named Nawaz Kannada Reviews. As of October 2022, he has more than 7.25k subscribers on the channel.
