- Nick Kroll grew up in a conservative Jewish family in Westchester.
- While he was studying at The Mountain School in Vershires, Vermont, he developed an interest in hiking.
- During his college years, Nick started doing improv comedy and stand-up. He later decided to study media.
- Nick began his career as a writer for Comedy Central’s Chappelle’s Show. He has also written the script for MTV’s show Human Giant.
