- Parunika switched to cricket in 2018. Her father, being a cricket coach, used to take her to the cricket ground, where she developed an interest in cricket.

- Parunika trained at Ram Pal Cricket Academy (RPCA) in Delhi.
- In her debut match in the Senior Women’s One Day Trophy in 2021-22, Parunika took 5 wickets in the match and gave 26 runs.
