Controversies	• Accused of forcing open marriage, hiring escorts, and kidnapping by his wife In March 2025, during a press conference, his wife, Dhivya Sashidhar, accused him of kidnapping their son, forcing her to enter an MOU (Memorandom Of Understanding), forcing her to travel to India from Singapore to solve property dispute. She also accused him of being a 'sexual predator,' recording her pornographic videos and distributing them. She accused him of being charged in a prostitution case in United States and committing fraud by transferring matrimonial assets to trusts and other accounts. In April 2025, his wife accused him of hiring escorts, forcing open marriage and encouraging her to have relationships with his friends. She further accused him of forcing her to engage in sexual activity during her recovery from childbirth complications and later, hiring escorts and threatening her to engage in sexual activities outside of marriage when she refused in an email in 2019. She claimed that although, Prasanna later apologised for his behaviour, he continued to display controlling behaviour. She has also accused him of moving his family from California to Washington, and later, to Singapore, to evade taxes.
