• On 24 August 2017, at around 2 am, Rachana and her friends (Jeevan, Ranjith, Uttham, Honnesh, Eric) were travelling in the TATA Safari on their way to Kukke Subramanya temple after celebrating their friend Karthik’s birthday. Jeevan was behind the wheels when the car collided with a halted tractor at Solur. The were rushed to Harsha hospital near Nelamangala, where Ranjith, Eric, Honnesh and Uttham sustained minor injuries, but Rachana and Jeevan could not be saved.
