Controversy | Notice issues against Rajendra In 2019, a notice was issued against Rajendra for one of the assurances he made during the assembly elections in 2013. Rajendra claimed that he would allot houses to the displaced people of Rani Talab and Chuna Bhatta in Rathara and Rathari under the Integrated Housing and Slum Development Program (IHSDP) scheme because the Corporation Commissioner did not provide any house under the program. He distributed pamphlates about it because of which the displaced families started living in the houses without depositing margin money of Rs. 15,000. According to the notice, due to the unwritten agreement between the recipients and Rajendra, Rewa Municipal Corporation faced a financial setback of Rs. 4.94 crore, which included an interest of Rs. 1.53 crore. The notice demanded repayment and Corporation Commissioner Sabhajit Yadav also penned a letter to Principal Secretary of Urban Development and Housing Department Sanjay Dubey related to this.
