Some Lesser Known Facts About Ravi Varma

Ravi Varma is an Indian television and film actor who prominently worked in Telugu films.

When he was two years old, his parents shifted to Hyderabad, and he completed his formal education there.

When he was in the third standard, he started learning Kathak. He also learned bhangra for almost eight years.

While studying at school, he learnt mime (a theatrical technique to express emotions with gestures only) and performed it at various events.

When he told his parents about joining the film industry, they supported him but asked him to complete his studies first.

For two and half years after completing his education, he worked at Rediff, USA.

After working at Rediff, he enrolled in a three-month acting course at New York Film Academy.

In an interview, Ravi revealed that for his character in his debut film Vennela, he visited an engineering college to learn the behaviour and mannerism of Muslim boys.

He played the role of Karthik, the main lead in the film Calling Bell (2015).
