• Rohit Yadav was very athletic and enjoyed playing Kho Kho in the village with his uncle when he was a kid. Later on, he discovered his passion for Kabaddi.

• Rohit claims that his parents were highly supportive of his decision to play professional kabaddi, though they encouraged him to continue with his academics. ^[2]YouTube

• Rohit decided to play Kabaddi professionally while still in school.

• According to Rohit, the closest sports facility to his home, Mahadev Club, was 15 kilometres away, and he went there every day to improve his skills.

• At the Mahadev Club,  he trained under Arjun Tetrewal; however, the club closed in 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, so Rohit began practising Kabaddi at Chaugan Stadium, where he trained for three years before competing for the under-19 team at the school and district levels.

• He was chosen for the state Kabaddi squad at one of the school tournaments, and he was later included in the national junior Kabaddi team.

• He held the title of Super Raid specialist at the Yuva Kabaddi Series Summer Edition 2023.

• Rohit Yadav participated in the Yuva Kabaddi Series summer 2023 edition with the Periyar Panthers in July 2023.

• He received many titles during the competition, including Kabaddi Ka Kamaal of the Match and Best Raider of the Match. Throughout the tournament, he participated in seventeen matches and scored 145 points.

• With ten Super Raids during the competition, Rohit Yadav was named the Yuva Kabaddi Series Summer Edition 2023 Super Raid specialist.
