• Sheela Rajkumar wanted to become an actor ever since childhood.

• She used to take part in her local church’s fancy dress competitions for Christmas and Easter. She used to choose a character from The Bible and prepare for the show.

• After studying Bharatanatyam, Sheela began acting in the short films of Kalaignar TV’s reality show titled ‘Naalaya Iyakunar.’

•  In 2014, she got the chance to star in a telefilm which never got released. However, on the sets of the film she met Thambi Chozhan who was the director and acting coach of the film.

• Her family did not agree to her and Thambi’s wedding which made the couple went through tough times before finally deciding to shift to Chennai.

• After she moved to Chennai to increase her acting experience, she joined the Tamil theatre group named ‘Koothu-P-Pattarai.’

• In 2017, Sheela Rajkumar was cast in the Tamil drama film titled ‘To Let’ in which she played the character of Amudha.
