  • As a child, she loved writing essays. During a media conversation, she once mentioned that she won nearly every essay writing competition in her school days. She said,

    I remember I used to write great essays in school. At the time, the biggest high was winning an essay competition and seeing my name put up on the school notice board. But professionally, writing was never on the cards. I did not write a page till about 2010, which was way after college.”

  • During her college days, Sneha Desai started participating in inter-college theatre plays and then joined commercial theatre in Gujarati.
  • In 2000, she made her theatre debut with the play Lajja Tane Mara Sam, which was produced by her college professor, Amee Trivedi. The play had 365 shows and was successful.
