Controversies	Legal Trouble with Vandana In 2007, actor Srikanth confirmed that he had married Vandana, the daughter of an industrialist. But, he said he needed to think before living with her again. He told the media that his parents had stopped the grand wedding plans because of several cheating cases filed against Vandana’s family. Vandana later filed a complaint with the police, saying they got married on 7th February in Kakinada and also showed their wedding photos. The court then told Srikanth and his parents to go to the Vadapalani police station and sign the register, which they did. Later, Srikanth filed for divorce, saying Vandana had entered his house without permission and was trying to spoil his name in the film industry. They later got united. Arrest in a Drug Case On 23 June 2025, actor Srikanth was arrested in Chennai for alleged cocaine purchase and use. NDTV reported that police found documentary evidence, including chats, phone data, and money transfers, linking him to drug suppliers and a Tamil Nadu-based cartel. His blood tests confirmed drug use, though the official forensic report was pending. His name surfaced after police arrested Pradeep, Ghana national John, and ex-AIADMK member Prasad during a drug case probe. He was questioned at Nungambakkam police station before arrest and sentenced to judicial custody till 7 July. According to some media sources, he was consuming drugs for around one and a half years.
