Some Lesser Known Facts About Twisha Sharma

When Twisha Sharma was a child, she shifted from Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, to Pune, Maharashtra, where she completed her schooling. After that, she completed her graduation in the same city.

After that, when her family shifted from Pune to Noida, Uttar Pradesh, she inclined towards modelling. She discussed her interest with her parents before pursuing it.

After that, Twisha Sharma started appearing in various print advertisements, campaign posters, and regional films.

According to her friends, she was a social and ambitious girl.

After her marriage, she started working as a marketing professional and communications specialist.

In December 2025, soon after her marriage, Twisha Sharma posted some pictures from her office meetings, film sets, and airports on various social media platforms.

Before her passing away, she was involved in her modelling assignments, acting, digital creation, and corporate presentations.

Twisha Sharma was working as a communications and onboarding manager at DADB Germany in Delhi.

Earlier, she worked as a marketing manager at Flavor Pot Foods in Mumbai, India.

During the same period, Twisha Sharma worked in a Telugu film titled ‘Mugguru Monagallu.’

After that, she appeared in a Hindi short film titled ‘Zara Sambhal Kay.’

After that, they started talking to each other and later their families met each other.

Her husband, Samarth Singh, works as an independent lawyer, who practices law in Bhopal, Jabalpur, and Indore. He provides services related to disputes, criminal defense, and consumer protection issues.

Samarth Singh has completed his graduation from National Law School of India University, Bengaluru, Karnataka.

In 2023, he started working as a legal advisor to the Madhya Pradesh government. He served in the position till 2025.

On 12 May 2026, Twisha Sharma made headlines when she was found dead in her marital home in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

Reportedly, the belt used in her hanging was not shown to doctors during the postmortem.

Her father described her as a dynamic lady in a media talk after her death. Her father said,

She was a dynamic lady. She did presentations in Malaysia and Indonesia. She worked in advertisements. We are getting condolence messages from Bollywood actors and people across the country.”

After her death, one of her co-actors, Swetaa Varma, who worked with her in the Telugu film Mugguru Monagallu, wrote a post about Twisha Sharma on social media. Varma wrote,

Though our interaction was brief, we shared some fun conversations and a lot of laughter. She carried such positive energy.”

She was featured in the advertisements of various noted brands such as Dove and L’Oreal.

After that, one of her cousins, Priyanka, described her as an ambitious and perfect girl in a media talk. Priyanka said,

She was very ambitious, steadfast. When the Covid lockdown hit, she switched jobs and took up a marketing gig for an MNC… She used to visit colleges and deliver speeches as part of her job.”

According to her cousin Priyanka, she met Twisha in March 2026 during her younger brother’s marriage. Priyanka claimed that Twisha had lost a lot weight after marriage.

According to police records and family accusations, Twisha Sharma’s marriage failed soon after.

The FIR by Twisha’s family claimed that her in-laws pressurised her for dowry. They blamed her for bad character and forced for an abortion.

Her parents stated in the FIR that her husband and in-laws accused Twisha Sharma of carrying another man’s child. After that, they forced her to had an abortion.

The post mortem claimed that Twisha Sharma had injures on her body before her death.

Later, her mother-in-law claimed in a police statement that Twisha was was suffering from drug abuse and was on a psychiatric treatment. Her mental health was collapsed a few days before her suicide.

Twisha Sharma was a certified yoga instructor and a Vipassana practitioner. She was a fitness enthusiast and practiced yoga regularly. She often shared pictures of her yoga sessions on social media.

She liked travelling to distant places and in her free time.
