In 2011, he was arrested by the Mumbai Police for rash driving. He was driving his Mercedes car when he rammed into another car in which a family of four people were travelling. According to the local police, the incident happened at around 6:45 am on Linking Road near Sab TV lane. Ronit was with his brother in the car. The local police arrested Ronit under two sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) Section 279 for reckless driving on a public road and Section 338 for causing serious injuries to others by endangering their lives.   • He shifted to Mumbai from Gujarat after completing his diploma in hotel management.
  • During his initial days in Mumbai, he stayed at the residence of Indian director Subhash Ghai, a good friend of his father.
  • He then joined Sea Rock Hotel in Mumbai, as an intern. He did various odd jobs there like washing dishes, cleaning tables, serving at the tables, and working as a bartender.
  • After he left his job there, he joined the film production company Mukta Arts as an assistant director. There, he assisted Indian directors Sanjeev Sharma and Mansoor Khan in directing ad films. He has also worked as a junior artist in a few Hindi films.
