• Durjoy Datta grew up in New Delhi.

• When he was a child, his parents forced him to read books. He was not allowed to go to bed before reading.

• During his childhood, he enjoyed reading books by Enid Blyton, Roald Dahl, David Baldacci, J. K. Rowling, and Neil Gaiman.

• He started writing short blogs about campus life, his friends, and his subtle feelings for crushes during his college days on the platform Orkut.

• Durjoy wrote his first novel, ‘Of Course I Love You ..! Till I Find Someone Better,’ during his last year of engineering as a challenge with his friend to write a forty thousand-word story.

• He did not take writing seriously after getting his first novel published in 2008, but three or four months later, he received a call from the publisher who informed him that his book had made it to the list of best-selling novels.
