• She was named after her father name Ron Rousey.

• In her childhood, She was the victim of Apraxia (a neurological childhood speech sound disorder); as at the time her birth, the umbilical cord was wrapped on her neck.

• Her mother took her to Jamestown, North Dakota to obtain Ronda, an intensive speech therapy.

• When Ronda was just 8 years old, her biological father committed suicide, after knowing that he would be paraplegic.
